Tickets for the festival will be sold exclusively through See Tickets, with two main sales scheduled: coach packages will be available on 14 November 2024 at 6pm GMT, followed by general admission tickets on 17 November 2024 at 9am GMT. The price for general admission tickets is set at £373.50, plus a £5 booking fee, marking an increase from previous years.
This year, Glastonbury has introduced a new ticketing system aimed at reducing chaos during sales. Fans must log onto the See Tickets webpage prior to the ticket launch to be automatically assigned a place in a virtual queue. Those who log on after the sale starts will be added to the back of the queue. The festival’s organisers have advised against using multiple devices or refreshing the page, as this could result in being blocked from purchasing tickets.
In a further effort to combat fraud, all attendees must be registered, with registration closing at 5pm GMT on 11 November 2024. Those hoping to secure tickets are encouraged to have their registration details and payment information ready before the sale begins.
Despite ticket prices rising, the festival continues to be in high demand, with 2.5 million registered fans competing for a limited number of tickets. Many speculate about the lineup, with popular contenders including big names such as Ed Sheeran and Olivia Rodrigo, although no acts have been officially confirmed yet.
As the countdown to ticket sales begins, fans are reminded to prepare thoroughly and remain hopeful, as there will also be a resale opportunity in April 2025 for any remaining tickets.
