Peter Kay Extends Record-breaking Tour into 2025 and 2026
Peter Kay, the beloved Bolton-born comedian, has announced a new series of tour dates for his record-breaking comedy tour, which will extend into 2025 and 2026. The announcement was made during a surprise advert aired during the premiere of this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!
Kay’s tour will feature shows in various large arenas and more intimate theatre venues across the UK, including his first performances in Aberdeen, Brighton, Bournemouth, and the Isle of Man. Additional tour stops include major cities such as London, Manchester, and Cardiff.
Key new dates include:
- February 7, 2025 – Manchester AO Arena
- March 8, 2025 – Leeds First Direct Arena
- May 30-31, 2025 – Aberdeen P&J Live
- August 7, 2025 – Belfast SSE Arena
- January 9-10, 2026 – Brighton Centre and Bournemouth International Centre
The tickets for the new dates will go on sale on November 23, 2024, at 10am, with prices starting from £35. In response to the ongoing cost of living crisis, Kay has committed to keeping ticket prices affordable.
Peter Kay expressed his joy at returning to stand-up, stating, “It’s been wonderful doing what I love most, stand-up comedy. Laughter is more important than ever in these challenging times.”
With a remarkable record of over 100 performances at the Manchester AO Arena, Kay has also made history as the first artist to hold a monthly residency at The O2 in London, performing 45 shows, the highest number by any artist at the venue.
