NatWest has pledged to provide support to affected customers, including offering guidance on alternative banking options and maintaining mobile and community pop-up banking services.
The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has introduced new rules requiring banks to ensure communities retain access to cash services following branch closures. However, critics argue that these measures may not fully address the needs of all customers, particularly in areas with poor internet connectivity.
