Jake Brown and Leanne Quigley Triumph in The Traitors Series Three

Project manager Jake Brown and former soldier Leanne Quigley have been crowned the winners of The Traitors series three, sharing a prize pot of £94,600. The explosive finale, which aired on BBC One, saw the pair emerge victorious after weeks of deception, betrayal, and high-stakes gameplay.

The final episode began with five contestants remaining: Charlotte Berman, the last-standing Traitor, and four Faithfuls—Alexander Dragonetti, Francesca Rowan-Plowden, Jake Brown, and Leanne Quigley. A new twist this season meant that banished players did not reveal their true identities, leaving the remaining contestants to rely solely on their instincts to determine if any Traitors remained.

Francesca, who had been granted the power of the “Seer,” uncovered Charlotte’s true identity as a Traitor during a secret meeting. However, Charlotte attempted to sow doubt among the group by accusing Francesca of being the Traitor instead. This led to a tense roundtable where Charlotte was ultimately banished, though her status as a Traitor was not disclosed to the others.

The remaining Faithfuls—Alexander, Francesca, Jake, and Leanne—chose to continue banishing, mistakenly believing there might still be a Traitor among them. Alexander and Francesca were subsequently voted out, leaving Jake and Leanne as the final two. When they revealed their identities as Faithfuls, they were declared joint winners, splitting the £94,600 prize.

The finale was the most-watched live episode in the show’s history, with an average audience of 7.4 million tuning in. The series has cemented its place as one of the BBC’s biggest hits, with over nine million viewers across the season.

Speaking after their win, Jake described the experience as “surreal,” while Leanne expressed her joy at the friendships formed during the game. Both winners reflected on the intense paranoia and emotional toll of the competition, but ultimately celebrated their hard-fought victory.
