Leanne Quigley; From Army Veteran to *The Traitors* Champion and Future Family Plans

Leanne Quigley, a former British Army veteran and finalist on the BBC’s The Traitors, has shared her plans for the future following her victory on the show. Alongside fellow contestant Jake Brown, Leanne secured a £94,600 prize fund after a tense finale. The 28-year-old from Holywell, Flintshire, revealed that she and her fiancée, Sophie, are now planning their wedding and hope to expand their family through IVF.

Leanne and Sophie, who are parents to twin boys born prematurely at 26 weeks, have faced significant challenges in recent years. The twins, Hudson and Harley, spent 91 days in hospital after their birth in January 2023, with Leanne describing the experience as the “scariest” time of her life. She expressed her desire to have another child, stating that she would “love to go through IVF again” and hopes for a smoother experience this time.

In addition to their struggles with premature birth, Sophie was diagnosed with grade 3 breast cancer in July 2024. After undergoing chemotherapy, Sophie was declared cancer-free in January 2025, a moment Leanne described as the “only news we needed and wanted.” Leanne praised Sophie’s strength and resilience, calling her “the strongest woman on planet earth.”

Leanne, who served in the British Army for 12 years before leaving in October 2023, also reflected on her time on The Traitors. She admitted that she initially wanted to be a Traitor but ultimately remained a Faithful, using her military background to outwit her competitors. Despite the intense stress of the game, Leanne said her family was her motivation throughout the competition.

The couple now looks forward to celebrating their future together, with wedding plans underway and hopes of growing their family. Leanne expressed gratitude for the support they received during their difficult times, particularly from the NHS, and encouraged others facing similar challenges to “never give up.”
