Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have discovered their opponents in the Europa League last-16 draw, with both Premier League clubs aiming to progress towards the final in Bilbao on 21 May. United will face Spanish side Real Sociedad, while Tottenham are set to take on Dutch outfit AZ Alkmaar. The two-legged ties will be played on 6 and 13 March, with the first legs taking place away from home for both English teams.

Elsewhere in the draw, Rangers have been handed a challenging tie against Fenerbahce, while Athletic Bilbao, who will host the final at their San Mamés Stadium, will face Roma. The knockout bracket also sets up potential quarter-final clashes, with United potentially meeting Lyon or Eintracht Frankfurt if they progress, and Tottenham possibly facing Ajax or Frankfurt.
