The Kanto region braces for rain and snow on 27th January 2025, with icy roads posing risks. Meteorologist Tomoko Okamoto warns of wet snow in Chiba and Ibaraki Prefectures, and rain mixed with snow in Tokyo and Kanagawa. The weather will briefly clear by 28th morning but road freezing remains a concern. Setsubun on 2nd February may bring cold rain and snow, with continued severe cold post-Risshun.
