香港賽馬會推出新計劃以提升賽馬業務及回饋社會
香港賽馬會（HKJC）近日提出多項新計劃，旨在提升賽馬業務及回饋社會。首先，馬會計劃增加海外轉播賽事的數量，由現時的每年25場增至2026/27年度賽季的55場，並將轉播日數由37日增至70日。此舉旨在吸引更多海外投注，並應對本地投注額下降的挑戰。公眾可於2月21日前向博彩及獎券事務委員會提交意見。
此外，馬會為迎接農曆新年，將於新年首月推出總值2.28億港元的獎金計劃，包括賽馬大獎及破紀錄的新年六合彩金多寶。其中，新年賽馬日的三重彩獎金預計可達1800萬港元，而六合彩金多寶的首獎基金估計為1.88億港元，創下歷史新高。
另一方面，馬會慈善信託基金撥款1014萬港元，支持「家和計劃」，旨在幫助低收入及非華裔家庭，促進家庭和諧。該計劃將於明年2月啟動，預計惠及2400名青少年及其家長。
馬會亦公布2023/24財政年度業績，總投注額為3049億港元，與上年度相若，但本地賽馬投注額下跌9.3%，主要受非法賭博及疫情後消費模式轉變影響。儘管如此，馬會仍向社會貢獻401億港元，包括299億港元的博彩稅及102億港元的慈善捐款。
馬會表示，未來將繼續推動賽馬全球化，並加強社區支持，以應對市場挑戰並維持其社會貢獻。
