保華建業集團財務困境 五間子公司申請臨時清盤
香港大型建築公司保華建業集團（Paul Y. Engineering Group）因財務困境，旗下五間子公司已向法院申請臨時清盤，以處理債務問題並制定重組計劃。政府表示，保華建業目前參與13個政府基建項目，其中12個為與其他建築公司的合資項目，預計影響可控。保華建業的合資夥伴將負責完成相關工程，而唯一由保華建業獨自承建的項目已接近完工。
保華建業的代表在法庭上表示，公司因無法支付員工薪金及被房屋署終止合約，面臨嚴重財務壓力。法院已委任兩名來自PwC的臨時清盤人，以保護資產及債權人利益。政府發言人強調，企業的財務問題屬個別情況，並相信合資承包商有能力繼續完成工程。
香港建造業協會指出，保華建業的情況屬個別事件，不應與整體行業狀況混為一談，並對政府及時跟進事件表示歡迎。協會強調，香港建造業整體仍保持穩定及具韌性。
