Veteran बंगाली अभिनेता और नाट्यकार मनोज मित्रा का 86 वर्ष की आयु में निधन हो गया। उनका निधन 12 नवंबर 2024 को कोलकाता के एक निजी अस्पताल में हुआ। उनकी मृत्यु उम्र संबंधित स्वास्थ्य समस्याओं के कारण हुई, जिसके लिए उन्हें हाल ही में अस्पताल में भर्ती किया गया था।
मनोज मित्रा ने अपने करियर में कई प्रतिष्ठित फ़िल्में कीं, जिनमें तपन सिन्हा की “बंचहरामेर बागान” और सत्यजीत रे की “घर बाहर” और “गणशत्रु” शामिल हैं। उन्होंने 100 से अधिक नाटकों की लेखनी की, जिनमें कई सामाजिक और राजनीतिक मुद्दों को दर्शाया गया। उन्होंने 1985 में उत्कृष्ट नाटककार के लिए संगीत नाटक अकादमी पुरस्कार भी प्राप्त किया।
