वहीं, मिर्जापुर सीरीज में अपने किरदार बाब्लू की मृत्यु पर भी मैसी ने चर्चा की। उन्होंने कहा कि वह इस बात से निराश थे कि उन्हें अपने किरदार की कहानी के बारे में पहले से जानकारी नहीं थी। “यह मेरे लिए एक बड़ा सबक था कि मैं स्क्रिप्ट को ध्यान से पढ़ूं,” उन्होंने कहा। मिर्जापुर का अगला अद्यतन एक फिल्म के रूप में 2026 में आने वाला है।
