यशस्वी जयसवाल को “ब्रेकथ्रू एथलीट ऑफ द ईयर” का पुरुष पुरस्कार मिला। उन्होंने सभी प्रारूपों में बेहतरीन प्रदर्शन किया, खासकर टेस्ट क्रिकेट में 1,407 रन बनाए। इस पुरस्कार की दौड़ में रिंकू सिंह, हाकी खिलाड़ी अभिषेक नैन और शूटर सरबजोत सिंह शामिल थे, लेकिन जयसवाल ने सभी को पीछे छोड़ दिया।
महिला श्रेणी में, भारतीय ऑलराउंडर श्रेयंका पाटिल को “ब्रेकथ्रू एथलीट ऑफ द ईयर” का पुरस्कार मिला। पाटिल ने अपने गेंदबाजी और बल्लेबाजी के प्रदर्शन से सभी को प्रभावित किया और इस पुरस्कार की दौड़ में ईशा सिंह, तैराक धनिधि देसिंघु, और महिला हाकी कप्तान सलीमा टेटे को पीछे छोड़ दिया।
रिंकू सिंह की चुनौतियाँ
हालिया T20I श्रृंखला में रिंकू सिंह की फॉर्म चिंता का विषय बनी हुई है। उन्होंने पिछले 7 T20I मैचों में केवल 91 रन बनाए। दक्षिण अफ्रीका के खिलाफ तीसरे T20I में उन्हें एंडिले सिमेलाने द्वारा एक शानदार यॉर्कर पर आउट किया गया, जिससे उनकी T20I करियर की स्थिति पर खतरा मंडरा रहा है।

आईपीएल 2025 के लिए कप्तानी की संभावनाएँ
कोलकाता नाइट राइडर्स (KKR) आईपीएल 2025 के लिए रिंकू सिंह को अपना कप्तान बनाने पर विचार कर रही है। KKR ने उन्हें 13 करोड़ रुपये में रिटेन किया है। रिंकू का टी20 इंटरनेशनल में अच्छा प्रदर्शन और KKR के साथ छह वर्षों का अनुभव उन्हें इस भूमिका के लिए एक मजबूत उम्मीदवार बनाता है।
