देहरादून के ओएनजीसी चौक पर कार दुर्घटना में छह छात्रों की मौत
उदयपुर, देहरादून में एक गंभीर कार दुर्घटना में छह छात्रों की जान चली गई और एक अन्य व्यक्ति गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गया। यह घटना मंगलवार, 12 नवंबर 2024 की सुबह लगभग 1:30 बजे ओएनजीसी चौक पर हुई, जब छात्रों की इनोवा कार एक ट्रक से टकरा गई।
पुलिस ने बताया कि टक्कर इतनी भयंकर थी कि कार के कई हिस्से बिखर गए और दो यात्रियों के सिर कट गए। मृतकों की पहचान कunal कुकरेजा (23), अतुल अग्रवाल (24), ऋषभ जैन (24), नव्या गोयल (23), कमाक्षी (20) और गुनित (19) के रूप में की गई। सभी छात्र देहरादून के निवासी थे, सिवाय कुकरेजा के, जो हिमाचल प्रदेश से थे। टक्कर में एकमात्र जीवित बचे व्यक्ति सिद्धेश अग्रवाल (25) को शहर के सायनर्जी अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है, जहां उनकी स्थिति गंभीर बताई जा रही है।
अधिकारी ने कहा कि दुर्घटना की वजहों की जांच जारी है और सीसीटीवी फुटेज की जांच की जा रही है। प्रारंभिक रिपोर्टों से संकेत मिलता है कि कार तेज गति से चल रही थी और ट्रक से पीछे से टकरा गई। कुछ चश्मदीदों ने बताया कि छात्र शराब पीकर पार्टी मनाने के बाद लौट रहे थे। हाल ही में सोशल मीडिया पर एक वीडियो वायरल हुआ है, जिसमें छात्रों को पार्टी करते दिखाया गया है, लेकिन पुलिस ने अभी तक पुष्टि नहीं की है कि वे वास्तव में दुर्घटना के समय नशे में थे।
उत्तराखंड के मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने इस हादसे पर गहरा दुख प्रकट किया है और मृतकों के परिवारों के प्रति संवेदना व्यक्त की है। उन्होंने कहा, “इस सड़क दुर्घटना में छह युवाओं की मृत्यु की खबर अत्यंत दिल को दहला देने वाली है। मैं भगवान से प्रार्थना करता हूं कि वे मृत आत्माओं को शांति प्रदान करें और शोक संतप्त परिवारों को इस अपार दुख को सहन करने की शक्ति दें।”
इस भयानक दुर्घटना ने एक बार फिर सड़क सुरक्षा के मुद्दे को उजागर किया है और स्थानीय अधिकारियों ने इसे लेकर गंभीर चिंतन शुरू कर दिया है।
