प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी का ऐतिहासिक गुयाना दौरा; द्विपक्षीय संबंधों में नया अध्याय
प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने गुयाना का ऐतिहासिक दौरा किया, जो पिछले 56 वर्षों में किसी भारतीय प्रधान मंत्री का पहला दौरा है। यह यात्रा नरेंद्र मोदी और गुयाना के राष्ट्रपति मोहम्मद इरफान अली के बीच द्विपक्षीय वार्ताओं का हिस्सा थी, जिसमें कई महत्वपूर्ण समझौतों पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए, जो स्वास्थ्य, व्यापार, ऊर्जा, कृषि और रक्षा सहित विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में सहयोग बढ़ाने के लिए तैयार किए गए।
मोदी ने कहा कि गुयाना भारत की ऊर्जा सुरक्षा में एक महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएगा और एक दीर्घकालिक साझेदारी के लिए एक रूपरेखा विकसित की जाएगी। उन्होंने यह भी उल्लेख किया कि भारत गुयाना को फार्मास्यूटिकल उत्पादों का एक महत्वपूर्ण स्रोत बनाना चाहता है और वहां दवा निर्यात बढ़ाने का आश्वासन दिया।
दोनों देशों के बीच 10 समझौतों पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए, जिनमें हाइड्रोकार्बन, डिजिटल भुगतान प्रणाली और कृषि के क्षेत्र में सहयोग शामिल हैं। गुयाना में मोदी की यात्रा के दौरान, उन्होंने “एक पेड़ मां के नाम” पहल के तहत एक पौधा भी लगाया।
गुयाना के राष्ट्रपति अली ने मोदी की यात्रा को द्विपक्षीय संबंधों को मजबूत करने में एक महत्वपूर्ण मील का पत्थर बताया और मोदी की सराहना की।
इस दौरे के दौरान, मोदी ने भारतीय समुदाय के साथ बातचीत की और महात्मा गांधी की प्रतिमा को श्रद्धांजलि दी। यह यात्रा दोनों देशों के बीच सहयोग को और मजबूत करने का एक महत्वपूर्ण अवसर है।
