अमेरिकी अभियोजकों के अनुसार, अडानी, उनके भतीजे सागर अडानी और पूर्व अडानी ग्रीन ऊर्जा के CEO वनीत जैन पर भारतीय अधिकारियों को 250 मिलियन डॉलर की रिश्वत देने का आरोप लगा है। यह आरोप उन पर एजेंट और साझेदारी के लिए अनुबंध प्राप्त करने के लिए की गई भ्रष्टाचार की कार्रवाई के तहत लगाया गया है। गांधी ने कहा कि अडानी ने भारतीय और अमेरिकी कानून का उल्लंघन किया है, और इसके बावजूद वह भारत में स्वतंत्र घूम रहे हैं।
अदानी समूह का मूल्यांकन पिछले कुछ समय में भारी गिरावट का सामना कर रहा है, जिसमें कई प्रमुख कंपनियों जैसे अदानी एंटरप्राइजेज और अदानी ग्रीन ऊर्जा के शेयरों में 18% से 23% तक की कमी आई है। गांधी ने इस पर चिंता जताते हुए कहा कि यह इस बात का प्रमाण है कि मोदी सरकार अडानी की रक्षा कर रही है।
इस बीच, व्हाइट हाउस ने इन आरोपों पर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए कहा कि वे भारत और अमेरिका के बीच संबंधों की मजबूती को बनाए रखने के लिए काम करेंगे। वहीं, अडानी समूह ने इन आरोपों को निराधार करार दिया है और कहा है कि वे अपनी वैधता की रक्षा के लिए सभी कानूनी उपाय करेंगे।
शोले की जद में, कांग्रेस के छात्र संगठन एनएसयूआई ने अडानी की गिरफ्तारी की मांग को लेकर प्रदर्शन किया, जबकि भारतीय जनता पार्टी ने राहुल गांधी पर प्रतिकूल तीर चलाते हुए उन्हें जॉर्ज सोरोस के साथ जोड़कर आरोप लगाए।
इस मुद्दे पर बढ़ती राजनीतिक सक्रियता के साथ, अडानी समूह की स्थिति और भी जटिल हो गई है, और इसका असर वैश्विक निवेश और भारतीय आर्थिक दृश्य पर पड़ सकता है।
