अभिनेत्री स्वरा भास्कर के पति फहद अहमद ने महाराष्ट्र विधानसभा चुनाव में अणुशक्ति नगर सीट पर अपने प्रतिद्वंदी सना मलिक से 3,378 वोटों से हार का सामना किया। फहद, जो एनसीपी (शरद पवार गुट) के उम्मीदवार थे, प्रारंभिक राउंड्स में लीड में थे, लेकिन अंतिम राउंड में उन्हें हार का सामना करना पड़ा। स्वरा ने अपनी सोशल मीडिया पर ईवीएम (इलेक्ट्रॉनिक वोटिंग मशीन) में धांधली का आरोप लगाया, जब उन्होंने पाया कि वोटों की गिनती के दौरान अचानक “99% चार्ज” ईवीएम खोली गईं, जिससे सना मलिक को बढ़त मिली।
स्वरा ने एक पोस्ट में सवाल उठाया, “कैसे ऐसे मशीनें जो पूरी दिन मतदान के बाद 99% चार्ज हो सकती हैं?” उन्होंने चुनाव आयोग से जवाब मांगा और आरोप लगाया कि ये चार्ज्ड बैटरी वाली मशीनें हमेशा भाजपा और उसके सहयोगियों के पक्ष में वोट क्यों देती हैं। फहद ने भी चुनाव आयोग को संबोधित करते हुए इन नतीजों को “रैंक मैनिपुलेशन” करार दिया और राउंड 16, 17, 18 और 19 की गिनती की पुनर्याचन की मांग की।
यह चुनाव परिणाम एनसीपी में आंतरिक पार्टी संघर्ष को भी उजागर करता है, जहाँ सना मलिक, जो कि पूर्व MLA नवाब मलिक की बेटी हैं, ने अपने पिता की राजनीतिक विरासत को आगे बढ़ाया है। इस बीच, महायुति गठबंधन, जिसमें भाजपा, शिंदे गुट की शिव सेना और अजित पवार का एनसीपी शामिल है, ने 220 से अधिक सीटों पर विजय प्राप्त कर बहुमत प्राप्त किया है।
हजारों मतदाता अपनी पसंद के अनुसार सरकार में बदलाव की बजाय स्थिरता को चुनते दिखाई दिए, जबकि महाविकास अघाड़ी को केवल 51 सीटों पर बढ़त मिली।
