उत्तराखंड और म्यांमार में भूकंप के झटके, लोगों में दहशत
भूकंप के झटकों से उत्तराखंड के उत्तरकाशी जिले में लोगों में दहशत फैल गई। 24 जनवरी, 2025 की सुबह 7:44 बजे और 8:19 बजे क्रमशः 2.7 और 3.5 तीव्रता के भूकंप के झटके महसूस किए गए। राष्ट्रीय भूकंप विज्ञान केंद्र (NCS) के अनुसार, भूकंप का केंद्र उत्तरकाशी जिले के भटवाड़ी तहसील के पास था और इसकी गहराई 5 किलोमीटर थी। अधिकारियों ने बताया कि भूकंप से किसी तरह के जान-माल के नुकसान की कोई खबर नहीं है।
उत्तराखंड, जो भारत के भूकंपीय क्षेत्र IV और V में आता है, में अक्सर भूकंप के झटके महसूस किए जाते हैं। इससे पहले भी 6 सितंबर, 2024 को उत्तरकाशी के मोरी में 3.0 तीव्रता का भूकंप आया था। भूकंप विज्ञानियों के अनुसार, हिमालय क्षेत्र में भारतीय प्लेट और तिब्बती प्लेट के टकराव के कारण यहां भूकंपीय गतिविधियां अधिक होती हैं।
इसी तरह, म्यांमार में भी 24 जनवरी की सुबह 12:53 बजे 4.8 तीव्रता का भूकंप आया। इसका केंद्र म्यांमार के उत्तरी सागाइंग डिवीजन के होमालिन शहर में था। भूकंप की गहराई 106 किलोमीटर थी। इससे पहले 3 जनवरी को भी म्यांमार में 5.1 तीव्रता का भूकंप आया था।
भूकंप के इन झटकों से लोगों में दहशत तो फैली, लेकिन अब तक किसी बड़े नुकसान की खबर नहीं है। अधिकारियों ने लोगों से सतर्क रहने और सुरक्षित स्थानों पर रहने की अपील की है।
