राष्ट्रीय बालिका दिवस; लड़कियों को सशक्त बनाने की पहल
भारत में हर साल 24 जनवरी को राष्ट्रीय बालिका दिवस मनाया जाता है। यह दिन लड़कियों के अधिकारों, शिक्षा और कल्याण को बढ़ावा देने के लिए समर्पित है। इसकी शुरुआत 2008 में महिला एवं बाल विकास मंत्रालय द्वारा की गई थी। इसका उद्देश्य लड़कियों को सशक्त बनाने और उन्हें लैंगिक भेदभाव से मुक्त वातावरण प्रदान करने के महत्व के बारे में जागरूकता फैलाना है।
इस दिन का मुख्य फोकस लड़कियों के प्रति सामाजिक दृष्टिकोण को बदलना, लिंग आधारित भेदभाव, बाल विवाह, और लड़कियों की शिक्षा और स्वास्थ्य जैसे मुद्दों पर ध्यान केंद्रित करना है। सरकार ने लड़कियों के विकास और सुरक्षा के लिए कई योजनाएं शुरू की हैं, जैसे बेटी बचाओ बेटी पढ़ाओ, सुकन्या समृद्धि योजना, और पॉक्सो एक्ट। इन योजनाओं का उद्देश्य लड़कियों को शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य और सुरक्षा के मामले में समान अवसर प्रदान करना है।
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने इस अवसर पर लड़कियों की उपलब्धियों को सराहा और उन्हें समान अवसर प्रदान करने के लिए सरकार की प्रतिबद्धता दोहराई। उन्होंने कहा कि भारत की बेटियों ने हर क्षेत्र में अपनी प्रतिभा का लोहा मनवाया है और उनकी उपलब्धियां हम सभी के लिए प्रेरणा का स्रोत हैं।
इस वर्ष की थीम “एक उज्ज्वल भविष्य के लिए लड़कियों को सशक्त बनाना” है, जो लड़कियों को शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य और सुरक्षा के माध्यम से सशक्त बनाने पर जोर देती है। यह दिन समाज में लड़कियों के प्रति समानता और सम्मान को बढ़ावा देने का एक महत्वपूर्ण अवसर है।
