साइएंट लिमिटेड के शेयरों में 24 जनवरी, 2025 को भारी गिरावट देखी गई, जो कंपनी के कमजोर तीसरी तिमाही (Q3) के नतीजों और सीईओ कार्तिकेयन नटराजन के इस्तीफे के कारण हुई। कंपनी के शेयर 20% तक गिरकर 1,402.25 रुपये के 52-सप्ताह के निचले स्तर पर पहुंच गए। कंपनी ने वित्त वर्ष 2025 के लिए अपने राजस्व विकास अनुमान को घटाकर -2.7% कर दिया है, जो पहले सपाट विकास का अनुमान था। इसके अलावा, EBIT मार्जिन का अनुमान भी घटाकर 13.5% कर दिया गया है, जो पहले 16% था।

साइएंट के डिजिटल, इंजीनियरिंग और टेक्नोलॉजी (DET) सेगमेंट ने Q3 में 1,480 करोड़ रुपये का राजस्व दर्ज किया, जो पिछली तिमाही की तुलना में 2.1% की वृद्धि दर्शाता है, लेकिन पिछले साल की तुलना में 0.8% की गिरावट दर्ज की गई। इस सेगमेंट का EBIT 200 करोड़ रुपये रहा, जिसमें मार्जिन 13.5% था। हालांकि, इस सेगमेंट का शुद्ध लाभ 28.3% गिरकर 124 करोड़ रुपये रह गया।

कार्तिकेयन नटराजन ने सीईओ पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया है, और कंपनी के पूर्व सीईओ कृष्णा बोडानापु को अंतरिम सीईओ का पदभार संभालना पड़ा है। नटराजन ने अपने इस्तीफे में कहा कि वह नई चुनौतियों और अवसरों की तलाश में हैं। उन्होंने कंपनी की वित्तीय और तकनीकी उपलब्धियों को रेखांकित किया, लेकिन यह भी कहा कि अब यह कंपनी को अगले चरण के विकास के लिए सौंपने का सही समय है।

ब्रोकरेज फर्मों ने भी कंपनी के प्रदर्शन पर चिंता जताई है। जेपी मॉर्गन ने साइएंट के शेयर पर अपना टारगेट प्राइस घटाकर 1,750 रुपये कर दिया है और रेटिंग को “ओवरवेट” से घटाकर “न्यूट्रल” कर दिया है। मोतीलाल ओसवाल ने भी शेयर को “सेल” की रेटिंग दी है और टारगेट प्राइस घटाकर 1,350 रुपये कर दिया है।

कंपनी के प्रबंधन ने राजस्व विकास अनुमान में कटौती का कारण परियोजनाओं के शिफ्ट होने और आक्रामक वेतन वृद्धि को बताया है। हालांकि, कंपनी ने वित्त वर्ष 2026 में 16% EBIT मार्जिन हासिल करने का लक्ष्य रखा है और राजस्व विकास पर ध्यान केंद्रित करने की बात कही है।

इन सभी कारकों के चलते साइएंट के शेयरों में भारी गिरावट देखी गई है, और निवेशकों के लिए यह एक चिंताजनक स्थिति बन गई है।
