जियोसिनेमा ने ईशान चटर्जी को नया चीफ बिजनेस ऑफिसर नियुक्त किया
जियोसिनेमा ने हाल ही में यूट्यूब इंडिया के पूर्व मैनेजिंग डायरेक्टर ईशान चटर्जी को अपना नया चीफ बिजनेस ऑफिसर नियुक्त किया है। यह नियुक्ति जियोसिनेमा के डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म को और मजबूत करने और भारत के प्रतिस्पर्धी ओटीटी मार्केट में अपनी पकड़ बनाने की दिशा में एक महत्वपूर्ण कदम है। चटर्जी को जियोसिनेमा के मोनेटाइजेशन स्ट्रैटेजी को संभालने की जिम्मेदारी दी गई है, जिसमें खासतौर पर स्पोर्ट्स और एंटरटेनमेंट सेक्टर में राजस्व बढ़ाने पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया जाएगा।
चटर्जी के पास 20 साल से अधिक का अनुभव है, जिसमें 13 साल गूगल में बिताए हैं, जहां उन्होंने यूट्यूब इंडिया के विकास में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई। उनकी नियुक्ति जियोसिनेमा के उस लक्ष्य को दर्शाती है, जिसमें वह अपने यूजर बेस को बढ़ाने और उन्हें बेहतर डिजिटल अनुभव प्रदान करने की कोशिश कर रहा है।
जियोसिनेमा ने हाल ही में 15 मिलियन पेइंग सब्सक्राइबर्स का आंकड़ा पार किया है और इसने अपने यूजर बेस को बढ़ाने के लिए नए सब्सक्रिप्शन प्लान भी पेश किए हैं। इसमें 29 रुपये प्रति माह का प्रीमियम प्लान और 89 रुपये प्रति माह का फैमिली प्लान शामिल है, जो चार डिवाइस पर साथ-साथ स्ट्रीमिंग की सुविधा देता है।
रिलायंस इंडस्ट्रीज के मीडिया डिवीजन, जिसमें जियोसिनेमा भी शामिल है, ने पिछले साल 10,000 करोड़ रुपये से अधिक का राजस्व अर्जित किया, जो कि 49% की वृद्धि दर्शाता है। इस वृद्धि में स्पोर्ट्स कंटेंट का बड़ा योगदान रहा है।
चटर्जी की नियुक्ति जियोसिनेमा के लिए एक नए युग की शुरुआत का संकेत देती है, जहां वह न केवल भारत में बल्कि वैश्विक स्तर पर भी अपनी पहचान बनाने की कोशिश कर रहा है।
