साइएंट लिमिटेड के शेयरों में 24 जनवरी, 2025 को भारी गिरावट देखी गई, जो कंपनी के कमजोर तीसरी तिमाही (Q3 FY25) के परिणामों और सीईओ कार्तिकेयन नटराजन के इस्तीफे के कारण हुई। कंपनी के शेयरों में 20% से अधिक की गिरावट आई, जो 1,402.25 रुपये के 52-सप्ताह के निचले स्तर पर पहुंच गए।
कंपनी ने अपने डिजिटल, इंजीनियरिंग और टेक्नोलॉजी (DET) सेगमेंट में 28.3% की गिरावट के साथ 124 करोड़ रुपये का शुद्ध लाभ दर्ज किया, जबकि राजस्व 1,480 करोड़ रुपये रहा, जो पिछली तिमाही की तुलना में 2.1% अधिक था, लेकिन सालाना आधार पर 0.8% कम था। कंपनी ने वित्त वर्ष 2025 के लिए राजस्व वृद्धि का अनुमान घटाकर -2.7% कर दिया, जो पहले फ्लैट ग्रोथ का अनुमान था।
इसके अलावा, सीईओ कार्तिकेयन नटराजन ने अपने पद से इस्तीफा दे दिया, जिसके बाद प्रमोटर कृष्णा बोडानापु को अंतरिम सीईओ का पदभार संभालना पड़ा। इन घटनाओं ने निवेशकों के बीच चिंता बढ़ा दी, जिससे शेयरों में बिकवाली हुई।
ब्रोकरेज फर्म नुवामा ने कंपनी के शेयरों को ‘सेल’ रेटिंग दी और टारगेट प्राइस को 1,660 रुपये कर दिया। HDFC सिक्योरिटीज ने भी राजस्व और EPS अनुमानों में कटौती की, लेकिन ‘एड’ रेटिंग बरकरार रखी।
कंपनी के मैनेजमेंट ने कहा कि वित्त वर्ष 2026 में 16% EBIT मार्जिन हासिल करने के लिए प्रयास जारी हैं, लेकिन अगले कुछ तिमाहियों में राजस्व वृद्धि पर ध्यान केंद्रित किया जाएगा।
