अक्षय कुमार की नई फिल्म स्काई फोर्स ने अपने पहले दिन बॉक्स ऑफिस पर 11.25 करोड़ रुपये की कमाई की है। यह फिल्म 1965 के भारत-पाकिस्तान युद्ध के दौरान भारत के सरगोधा एयरबेस पर हमले की कहानी पर आधारित है। फिल्म में अक्षय कुमार के अलावा वीर पहाड़िया, सारा अली खान और निम्रत कौर मुख्य भूमिकाओं में हैं।
फिल्म की कमाई को बढ़ावा देने के लिए टिकट की कीमतों में भारी छूट दी गई थी, जो दर्शकों को सिनेमाघरों तक लाने में कारगर साबित हुई। फिल्म का बजट 160 करोड़ रुपये है और इसे अभिषेक कपूर और संदीप केवलानी ने निर्देशित किया है।
