टाटा मोटर्स के शेयरों में गुरुवार को 7-9% की गिरावट देखी गई, जो कंपनी के तीसरी तिमाही (Q3) के नतीजों के बाद हुई। कंपनी ने 22% साल-दर-साल (YoY) गिरावट के साथ 5,451 करोड़ रुपये का शुद्ध लाभ दर्ज किया, जो स्ट्रीट के अनुमानों से कम रहा। राजस्व में 3% की वृद्धि हुई और यह 1.13 लाख करोड़ रुपये पर पहुंच गया। हालांकि, आपूर्ति संबंधी चुनौतियों के कारण कंपनी का प्रदर्शन प्रभावित हुआ।
जगुआर लैंड रोवर (JLR) ने मजबूत प्रदर्शन किया और रिकॉर्ड राजस्व दर्ज किया, लेकिन भारत में कमर्शियल व्हीकल (CV) और पैसेंजर व्हीकल (PV) डिवीजन में मंदी देखी गई। ब्रोकरेज फर्म नुवामा ने कंपनी के शेयर पर ‘कम करें’ (Reduce) की रेटिंग बरकरार रखते हुए टारगेट प्राइस 750 रुपये से घटाकर 720 रुपये कर दिया। ब्रोकरेज ने JLR के लिए राजस्व अनुमान को 3% कम कर दिया और FY25-27 के लिए मंदी का पूर्वानुमान जताया।
इसके अलावा, जेफरीज ने भी टाटा मोटर्स को ‘अंडरपरफॉर्म’ (Underperform) की रेटिंग दी और टारगेट प्राइस 930 रुपये से घटाकर 660 रुपये कर दिया। ब्रोकरेज ने चीन और यूरोप में JLR की मांग में कमी, भारत में CV और PV डिवीजन में मंदी और EV सेगमेंट में बढ़ती प्रतिस्पर्धा को चिंता का कारण बताया।
कंपनी के CFO पीबी बालाजी ने कहा कि व्यवसाय की मूलभूत स्थिति मजबूत है और वे इस साल भी मजबूत प्रदर्शन करने के लिए आश्वस्त हैं। हालांकि, बाजार में निवेशकों की प्रतिक्रिया नकारात्मक रही और टाटा मोटर्स के शेयर 52-सप्ताह के निचले स्तर पर पहुंच गए।
