एफसी गोवा के हेड कोच मनोलो मार्केज़ ने मैच के बाद स्वीकार किया कि जमशेदपुर एफसी उनकी टीम से बेहतर थी। उन्होंने कहा, “यह एक निष्पक्ष जीत थी। जमशेदपुर एफसी ने हमसे बेहतर खेला। हमारी टीम आज मैदान पर नहीं दिखी। पहले हाफ में वे हमसे हज़ार गुना बेहतर थे।”
जमशेदपुर एफसी ने इस मैच में 10 शॉट्स ऑन टारगेट किए, जबकि एफसी गोवा केवल पांच शॉट्स ऑन टारगेट ही कर पाई। इस जीत के साथ, जमशेदपुर एफसी ने इस सीज़न में एफसी गोवा पर डबल जीत हासिल की, क्योंकि उन्होंने पहले भी रिवर्स फिक्स्चर में 2-1 से जीत हासिल की थी।
एफसी गोवा अब तीसरे स्थान पर खिसक गई है, और उन्हें अगले मैच में ओडिशा एफसी के खिलाफ बेहतर प्रदर्शन करने की जरूरत होगी।
