शिवम दुबे की चोट और हर्षित राणा के प्रतिस्थापन पर विवाद
भारतीय क्रिकेट टीम के ऑलराउंडर शिवम दुबे को इंग्लैंड के खिलाफ चौथे टी20 मैच में चोट लगने के बाद कंकशन सब्स्टिट्यूट के रूप में हर्षित राणा को मैच में उतारा गया। इस फैसले पर इंग्लैंड के कप्तान जोस बटलर ने सवाल उठाए और कहा कि यह “लाइक-फॉर-लाइक” प्रतिस्थापन नहीं था। दुबे ने 34 गेंदों में 53 रन बनाए थे, लेकिन जेमी ओवरटन की गेंद पर उनके हेलमेट पर चोट लगी, जिसके बाद उन्हें मैदान से बाहर जाना पड़ा।
बटलर ने मैच के बाद कहा, “यह लाइक-फॉर-लाइक प्रतिस्थापन नहीं है। हम इससे सहमत नहीं हैं। या तो शिवम दुबे ने गेंदबाजी में 25 मील प्रति घंटे की गति बढ़ा दी है या हर्षित ने बल्लेबाजी में काफी सुधार किया है। यह खेल का हिस्सा है और हमें मैच जीतना चाहिए था, लेकिन हम इस फैसले से सहमत नहीं हैं।”
आईसीसी के नियमों के अनुसार, कंकशन सब्स्टिट्यूट को “लाइक-फॉर-लाइक” होना चाहिए और इसके लिए मैच रेफरी की मंजूरी आवश्यक है। भारत के सहायक कोच ने बताया कि दुबे को हल्के सिरदर्द के लक्षण थे और टीम ने रेफरी को हर्षित राणा का नाम सुझाया था। राणा ने अपने डेब्यू मैच में तीन विकेट लिए और मैच में अहम भूमिका निभाई।
इस मामले में विवाद के बावजूद, भारत ने मैच 15 रन से जीता और सीरीज में बढ़त बना ली।
