जियोसिनेमा और डिज्नी+ हॉटस्टार के विलय से नया प्लेटफॉर्म जियोहॉटस्टार लॉन्च हुआ है। यह नया ओटीटी प्लेटफॉर्म भारत में सबसे बड़े प्लेटफॉर्म्स में से एक बन गया है। जियोस्टार, वायकॉम18 और स्टार इंडिया के विलय से बनी कंपनी, ने इस नए प्लेटफॉर्म की घोषणा की है। जियोहॉटस्टार में जियोसिनेमा और डिज्नी+ हॉटस्टार के कंटेंट और सब्सक्राइबर्स को एक साथ लाया गया है।
जियोस्टार के सीईओ किरण मणि ने कहा कि जियोहॉटस्टार का उद्देश्य प्रीमियम एंटरटेनमेंट को सभी भारतीयों के लिए सुलभ बनाना है। इस प्लेटफॉर्म पर 19 से अधिक भाषाओं में कंटेंट उपलब्ध होगा और एआई-आधारित सिफारिशें भी दी जाएंगी।
जियोहॉटस्टार के नए सब्सक्रिप्शन प्लान्स की शुरुआत 149 रुपये प्रति तिमाही से होगी। मौजूदा जियोसिनेमा और डिज्नी+ हॉटस्टार के उपयोगकर्ता बिना किसी परेशानी के नए प्लेटफॉर्म पर शिफ्ट हो सकेंगे।
इस विलय के साथ, जियोहॉटस्टार ने 3 लाख घंटे से अधिक का एंटरटेनमेंट कंटेंट और 50 करोड़ से अधिक उपयोगकर्ताओं का दावा किया है। यह प्लेटफॉर्म भारतीय ओटीटी बाजार में एक नया मानक स्थापित करने की उम्मीद रखता है।
