यूट्यूबर रणवीर अल्लाहबदिया ने हाल ही में कॉमेडी शो ‘इंडियाज़ गॉट लेटेंट’ में एक प्रतियोगी से की गई अपनी अश्लील टिप्पणी के लिए माफी मांगी है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह उनकी “निर्णय में गलती” थी और कॉमेडी उनका क्षेत्र नहीं है। रणवीर ने एक वीडियो संदेश में कहा, “मेरी टिप्पणी न केवल अनुचित थी, बल्कि यह मजाकिया भी नहीं थी। मैं सिर्फ माफी मांगने के लिए यहां हूं।” उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि वे अपने प्लेटफॉर्म का बेहतर उपयोग करना सीख रहे हैं और परिवार का अपमान करना उनका इरादा नहीं था।
रणवीर की यह टिप्पणी तब की गई जब उन्होंने एक प्रतियोगी से पूछा, “क्या आप अपने माता-पिता को हर दिन सेक्स करते हुए देखना पसंद करेंगे या उनके साथ एक बार शामिल होकर इसे हमेशा के लिए खत्म कर देंगे?” इस टिप्पणी ने सोशल मीडिया पर तूफान खड़ा कर दिया और मुंबई पुलिस के पास शो के खिलाफ शिकायत दर्ज की गई। महाराष्ट्र के मुख्यमंत्री देवेंद्र फडणवीस ने भी इस मामले पर प्रतिक्रिया देते हुए कहा कि अभिव्यक्ति की स्वतंत्रता तब तक है जब तक वह दूसरों की स्वतंत्रता का हनन न करे।
रणवीर ने अपने माफीनामे में यह भी कहा कि उन्होंने शो के निर्माताओं से वीडियो के असंवेदनशील हिस्सों को हटाने का अनुरोध किया है। उन्होंने अपने अनुयायियों से माफी मांगते हुए कहा कि वे इस अनुभव से सीख लेंगे और भविष्य में बेहतर करेंगे।
