रॉयल चैलेंजर्स बैंगलोर (RCB) ने आईपीएल 2025 के लिए अपने नए कप्तान की घोषणा कर दी है। टीम ने भारतीय बल्लेबाज राजत पाटीदार को नया कप्तान नियुक्त किया है, जो फाफ डु प्लेसिस की जगह लेंगे। पाटीदार को यह जिम्मेदारी देने के पीछे टीम प्रबंधन ने उनकी नेतृत्व क्षमता और टीम के प्रति समर्पण को महत्वपूर्ण माना है।

पाटीदार ने इस नई भूमिका के बारे में कहा, “मैं इस भूमिका के लिए तैयार हूं और टीम के साथियों का पूरा समर्थन मिलेगा। विराट कोहली जैसे अनुभवी खिलाड़ी से सीखने का मौका मिलेगा, जो मेरे लिए बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है।” विराट कोहली ने भी पाटीदार को शुभकामनाएं दीं और कहा कि वह और अन्य टीम के सदस्य उनका पूरा समर्थन करेंगे।

RCB के कोच एंडी फ्लावर ने कहा कि पाटीदार में नेतृत्व के लिए जरूरी गुण हैं और उनकी शांत प्रकृति टीम के लिए फायदेमंद साबित होगी। टीम के डायरेक्टर ऑफ क्रिकेट मो बोबैट ने बताया कि पाटीदार ने पहले ही मध्य प्रदेश की टीम का नेतृत्व किया है और उनकी महत्वाकांक्षा ने उन्हें इस भूमिका के लिए चुना।
