उत्तर प्रदेश वॉरियर्स की टीम में ऑस्ट्रेलियाई लेग-स्पिनर अलाना किंग और भारतीय ऑल-राउंडर क्रांति गौड़ ने महिला प्रीमियर लीग (डब्ल्यूपीएल) में अपना डेब्यू किया। अलाना किंग, जो ऑस्ट्रेलिया की महिला क्रिकेट टीम की प्रमुख गेंदबाज हैं, ने 30 लाख रुपये में यूपी वॉरियर्स के लिए हस्ताक्षर किए। उन्होंने हाल ही में ऑस्ट्रेलिया की ऐशेज जीत में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई थी और अब वह डब्ल्यूपीएल में अपने अनुभव और विकेट लेने की क्षमता से टीम को मजबूत कर रही हैं। किंग ने 25 टी20 अंतरराष्ट्रीय मैचों में 24 विकेट लिए हैं और उनकी बल्लेबाजी स्ट्राइक रेट 90.32 है।
