फुटबॉल के इंडियन सुपर लीग (ISL) 2024-25 के मैच में एफसी गोआ ने केरल ब्लास्टर्स को 2-0 से हराकर लीग शील्ड की दौड़ में अपनी उम्मीदें जिंदा रखी हैं। यह मुकाबला गोआ के फतोर्डा स्टेडियम में 22 फरवरी, 2025 को खेला गया। गोआ ने इस जीत के साथ केरल ब्लास्टर्स पर लीग में चौथी बार डबल करने का कारनामा किया।
मैच का पहला गोल दूसरे हाफ के शुरुआती मिनट में आया, जब गोआ के इकर गुआरोटक्सेना ने कमलजीत के पैर से टकराई गेंद को सरलता से नेट में डाल दिया। 73वें मिनट में मोहम्मद यासिर ने गोआ का दूसरा गोल दर्ज किया। गुआरोटक्सेना ने इस गोल में अहम भूमिका निभाते हुए दो डिफेंडर्स को पीछे छोड़ते हुए यासिर को गेंद पास की, जिसे उन्होंने नेट में डाल दिया।
केरल ब्लास्टर्स की ओर से मैच में एक भी शॉट ऑन टारगेट नहीं आया, जबकि गोआ ने लगातार हमलों के जरिए दबाव बनाए रखा। मैच के अंतिम मिनटों में गुआरोटक्सेना को सांस लेने में तकलीफ हुई, लेकिन वह जल्द ही ठीक हो गए।
इस जीत के साथ एफसी गोआ ने प्लेऑफ़ की दौड़ में अपनी जगह मजबूत कर ली है, जबकि केरल ब्लास्टर्स के लिए टॉप-6 में जगह बनाना मुश्किल होता जा रहा है।
