पाकिस्तानी क्रिकेटर खुशदिल शाह ने चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी 2025 के लिए अपनी टीम में चयन पर हैरानी जताई है। खुशदिल ने कहा कि उन्हें खुद नहीं पता कि वह टीम में कैसे शामिल हुए, क्योंकि वह पिछले दो साल से चयनकर्ताओं की नजरों से दूर थे। उन्होंने यह बात पाकिस्तान की न्यूजीलैंड के खिलाफ चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी की पहली मैच में 49 गेंदों पर 69 रन की पारी खेलने के बाद कही। हालांकि, उनकी यह पारी पाकिस्तान की हार को रोकने के लिए पर्याप्त नहीं थी और टीम 60 रन से हार गई।

खुशदिल का चयन फहीम अशरफ के बजाय किया गया था, जिस पर पाकिस्तान क्रिकेट बोर्ड (पीसीबी) के चयनकर्ताओं को काफी आलोचना झेलनी पड़ी। हालांकि, खुशदिल ने अपने प्रदर्शन से यह साबित करने की कोशिश की कि वह टीम में जगह बनाने के लायक हैं।
