जर्मनी के संघीय चुनाव 2025 के परिणामों ने देश की राजनीतिक दिशा में एक बड़ा बदलाव ला दिया है। कंजर्वेटिव सीडीयू/सीएसयू गठबंधन ने 28.6% वोट हासिल कर जीत दर्ज की, जबकि दक्षिणपंथी अल्टरनेटिव फॉर जर्मनी (एएफडी) ने 20.8% वोट के साथ अपना सर्वश्रेष्ठ प्रदर्शन किया। सीडीयू के नेता फ्रेडरिक मेर्ज़ अब जर्मनी के नए चांसलर बनने की राह पर हैं। वहीं, मौजूदा चांसलर ओलाफ शोल्ज़ की सोशल डेमोक्रेटिक पार्टी (एसपीडी) 16.4% वोट के साथ तीसरे स्थान पर रही।
चुनाव के मुख्य मुद्दों में जर्मनी की स्थिर अर्थव्यवस्था, प्रवासन और यूक्रेन-रूस युद्ध से जुड़ी अनिश्चितताएं शामिल थीं। मेर्ज़ ने प्रवासन पर सख्त रुख अपनाने और देश की सुरक्षा को मजबूत करने का वादा किया था। एएफडी ने पूर्वी जर्मनी में खासकर मजबूत प्रदर्शन किया, जहां उसे 34% वोट मिले। यह पार्टी युवाओं और असंतुष्ट मतदाताओं के बीच लोकप्रिय होती जा रही है।
अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर पर, मेर्ज़ ने अमेरिका के साथ संबंधों को मजबूत करने की बात कही है, लेकिन यूरोप की आत्मनिर्भरता पर भी जोर दिया है। उन्होंने कहा कि जर्मनी को यूरोप और वैश्विक मामलों में अग्रणी भूमिका निभानी चाहिए। चुनाव परिणामों के बाद दुनिया भर के नेताओं ने मेर्ज़ को बधाई दी है, जिनमें फ्रांस के राष्ट्रपति इमैनुएल मैक्रों और ब्रिटेन के प्रधानमंत्री कीर स्टारमर शामिल हैं।
अब मेर्ज़ के सामने सरकार बनाने की चुनौती है। सीडीयू/सीएसू एसपीडी के साथ गठबंधन बना सकता है, लेकिन एएफडी के साथ काम करने से सभी प्रमुख दलों ने इनकार कर दिया है। आने वाले हफ्तों में गठबंधन वार्ताएं तेज होने की उम्मीद है, जिससे जर्मनी की नई सरकार का रुख स्पष्ट होगा।
