बाबर आजम के लिए ब्रेसवेल एक बड़ी चुनौती; अहमद शहजाद
पाकिस्तान के पूर्व क्रिकेटर अहमद शहजाद ने न्यूजीलैंड के स्पिनर माइकल ब्रेसवेल को बाबर आजम के लिए एक बड़ी चुनौती बताया है। शहजाद ने कहा कि बाबर आजम ब्रेसवेल के खिलाफ बल्लेबाजी में अक्सर संघर्ष करते हैं और उनके हाथों आउट हो जाते हैं। उन्होंने इस बात का जिक्र किया कि हाल ही में हुए वनडे ट्राई-सीरीज में भी ब्रेसवेल ने बाबर को आउट किया था।
शहजाद ने कहा, “बाबर आजम दुर्भाग्यशाली रहे हैं, लेकिन ब्रेसवेल के साथ उनका ‘प्रेम प्रसंग’ खत्म होने का नाम नहीं ले रहा। हर बार जब वह आते हैं, बाबर को अपना शिकार बनाते हैं और उन्हें आउट कर देते हैं।”
बाबर आजम ने हाल ही में पाकिस्तान, न्यूजीलैंड और दक्षिण अफ्रीका के बीच हुए ट्राई-सीरीज में तीन मैचों में केवल 62 रन बनाए थे। अब वह 2025 चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी में पाकिस्तान की ओर से खेलेंगे, जो 19 फरवरी से 9 मार्च तक आयोजित होगी।
ब्रेसवेल ने न्यूजीलैंड की ओर से लगातार अच्छा प्रदर्शन करते हुए अपनी टीम को मजबूती प्रदान की है। उनकी गेंदबाजी और बल्लेबाजी दोनों ही टीम के लिए महत्वपूर्ण साबित हो रही हैं।
