भारतीय तेज गेंदबाज मोहम्मद शमी ने आईसीसी चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी 2025 के पहले मैच में बांग्लादेश के खिलाफ शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए कई रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिए। शमी ने 10 ओवर में 53 रन देकर 5 विकेट हासिल किए और भारत को बांग्लादेश के खिलाफ 6 विकेट से जीत दिलाने में अहम भूमिका निभाई। इस मैच में उन्होंने 200 वनडे विकेट पूरे करने का भी ऐतिहासिक कारनामा किया।

शमी ने 104 मैचों में 200 विकेट लेकर भारतीय गेंदबाजों में सबसे तेज यह उपलब्धि हासिल की। इससे पहले यह रिकॉर्ड अजीत आगरकर के नाम था, जिन्होंने 133 मैचों में 200 विकेट लिए थे। शमी ने 5126 गेंदों में यह मुकाम हासिल करके ऑस्ट्रेलिया के मिचेल स्टार्क का विश्व रिकॉर्ड भी तोड़ दिया। स्टार्क ने 200 विकेट लेने के लिए 5151 गेंदें फेंकी थीं।

इसके अलावा, शमी आईसीसी टूर्नामेंट्स में 60 विकेट लेने वाले पहले भारतीय गेंदबाज बन गए। उन्होंने जहीर खान के 59 विकेट के रिकॉर्ड को पीछे छोड़ दिया। शमी ने बांग्लादेश के खिलाफ अपने पहले ही ओवर में विकेट लेकर भारत को शुरुआती बढ़त दिलाई और मैच के दौरान उनकी गेंदबाजी ने बांग्लादेश की टीम को 228 रन तक सीमित कर दिया।

शमी के इस शानदार प्रदर्शन ने भारत को चैंपियंस ट्रॉफी में एक मजबूत शुरुआत दी। उनकी गेंदबाजी ने यह साबित कर दिया कि वह अभी भी भारतीय टीम के लिए एक महत्वपूर्ण हथियार हैं। अगले मैच में भारत का सामना पाकिस्तान से होगा, जहां शमी की भूमिका फिर से अहम होगी।
