शक्तिकांत दास को प्रधानमंत्री का प्रिंसिपल सेक्रेटरी-2 नियुक्त किया गया
भारत सरकार ने पूर्व आरबीआई गवर्नर शक्तिकांत दास को प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी का प्रिंसिपल सेक्रेटरी-2 नियुक्त किया है। यह नियुक्ति कैबिनेट की नियुक्ति समिति द्वारा की गई है और दास का कार्यकाल प्रधानमंत्री के कार्यकाल के साथ ही समाप्त होगा या जब तक आगे के आदेश नहीं होंगे। दास, जो वित्त और शासन के क्षेत्र में व्यापक अनुभव रखते हैं, पहले से ही प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय में प्रमोद कुमार मिश्रा के साथ काम करेंगे।
दास ने दिसंबर 2018 से आरबीआई के गवर्नर के रूप में कार्य किया और कोविड-19 महामारी के दौरान भारत की वित्तीय स्थिरता को मजबूत करने के लिए कई नीतिगत उपायों का नेतृत्व किया। उन्होंने वित्त मंत्रालय में राजस्व और आर्थिक मामलों के विभागों में भी महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई है। दास ने विश्व बैंक, एशियाई विकास बैंक और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मुद्रा कोष जैसे वैश्विक संस्थानों में भारत का प्रतिनिधित्व किया है।
इस नियुक्ति के साथ, दास प्रधानमंत्री कार्यालय में एक और महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाएंगे और सरकार की नीतियों और योजनाओं को आगे बढ़ाने में मदद करेंगे।
