दिल्ली कैपिटल्स (डीसी) ने गुजरात जायंट्स (जीजी) को महिला प्रीमियर लीग (डब्ल्यूपीएल) 2025 के 10वें मैच में 6 विकेट से हराकर शानदार प्रदर्शन किया। मैच बेंगलुरु के एम. चिन्नास्वामी स्टेडियम में खेला गया, जहां डीसी ने टॉस जीतकर पहले गेंदबाजी करने का फैसला किया। डीसी की गेंदबाजों ने शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए जीजी को मात्र 127 रनों पर सीमित कर दिया। इसके बाद जेस जोनासेन और शफाली वर्मा की बेहतरीन पारियों ने डीसी को आसान जीत दिलाई।

डीसी ने 128 रनों का लक्ष्य 15.1 ओवर में हासिल कर लिया। शफाली वर्मा ने 27 गेंदों में 44 रन बनाए, जबकि जेस जोनासेन ने 32 गेंदों में 61 रन की नाबाद पारी खेली। जोनासेन को उनके शानदार प्रदर्शन के लिए प्लेयर ऑफ द मैच चुना गया। डीसी ने यह जीत हासिल करके लीग में शीर्ष स्थान हासिल कर लिया है, जबकि जीजी अभी भी निचले पायदान पर हैं।
