2025年デリー州議会選挙：BJPが27年ぶりに政権奪還
2025年のデリー州議会選挙の結果、インド人民党（BJP）は27年ぶりにデリーで政権に返り咲きました。BJPは70議席中48議席を獲得し、明確な過半数を確保しました。一方、アーム・アードミ党（AAP）は22議席に留まりました。この選挙で、国民会議派（議会）は1議席も獲得できませんでした。この勝利はBJPにとって歴史的なものです。なぜなら、過去3十年間、デリーではAAPが優勢だったからです。
BJPのこの勝利の背景にはいくつかの要因があります。党はデリーのさまざまなカーストや宗教グループに浸透しました。22人のOBC候補者のうち16人が勝利を収めました。また、ハリヤナビーやプルヴァンチャリの有権者からもBJPは広範な支持を得ました。党はパンジャビやシーク教徒の有権者が多い地域でも良いパフォーマンスを発揮しました。しかし、ヴァルミキやジャータヴの有権者が多い地域では、BJPには改善の余地が見られました。
ナレンドラ・モディ首相は選挙結果を「開発、ビジョン、信頼」の勝利と表現しました。彼は、デリーの人々が開発のためにBJPを選んだと述べ、党はこの責任を果たすと語りました。BJPの全国会長であるJP・ナッダも、この勝利を党員の努力の結果と称しました。
AAPにとって、この選挙は失望の結果となりました。党の全国調整官であり元首席大臣のアルヴィンド・ケジリワルは、ニューデリー選挙区でBJPのパルヴェーシュ・ヴァルマに約4,000票差で敗北しました。ケジリワルはBJPに祝意を表し、彼の党は建設的な野党の役割を果たすと述べました。AAPの上級指導者であり元副首席大臣のマニーシュ・シソディアも、ジャングプラ選挙区でBJPのタルヴィンダー・シン・マルワーに675票差で敗れました。
BJPは現在、デリーで政権を樹立する準備を進めています。党内では、首席大臣のポストを巡ってパルヴェーシュ・ヴァルマ、ヴィジェンドラ・グプタ、サティーシュ・ウパディヤイなど、いくつかの名前が浮上しています。BJPは、最初の内閣会議でCAG報告書を提出し、汚職事件の調査のために特別調査チーム（SIT）を設置すると発表しました。
この選挙では、女性の代表が減少しました。新しい州議会では女性議員は5人しかいませんが、2020年には8人でした。新しい州議会の平均年齢は52歳で、最年長の議員は73歳のティラク・ラーム・グプタ、最年少は31歳のウマング・バジャジです。
