การประกวด Miss Universe 2024 จะจัดขึ้นที่เม็กซิโก 16 พฤศจิกายนนี้

Miss Universe 2024 กำลังจะเกิดขึ้นในวันที่ 16 พฤศจิกายน 2566 ที่ Arena Ciudad de México ประเทศเม็กซิโก ครั้งนี้จะเป็นครั้งแรกในรอบ 17 ปีที่ประเทศเม็กซิโกได้เป็นเจ้าภาพจัดการแข่งขัน โดยมีผู้เข้าประกวดทั้งหมด 127 คนจากทั่วโลก รวมถึง Chelsea Manalo ผู้แทนจากประเทศฟิลิปปินส์ที่ต้องการฟื้นฟูชัยชนะให้กับประเทศ

ในวันที่ 14 พฤศจิกายน 2566 จะมีการแข่งขันรอบ preliminaries และการแสดงชุดประจำชาติ ซึ่งจะประกอบไปด้วยการเดินแบบในชุดประจำชาติและชุดว่ายน้ำ โดยจะมีการคัดเลือกผู้เข้ารอบ 30 คนที่จะเข้าสู่รอบสุดท้าย ซึ่งจะมีการจัดให้มีการโหวตจากแฟน ๆ เพื่อเลือกผู้เข้ารอบเพิ่มอีกหนึ่งคน

ในปีนี้ Miss Universe ได้เปิดเผยมงกุฎใหม่ที่เรียกว่า “The Light of Infinity” ซึ่งออกแบบโดย Jewelmer แบรนด์เครื่องประดับจากฟิลิปปินส์ โดยมงกุฎนี้มีการประดับด้วยไข่มุกทองคำและไข่มุกจากทะเลใต้ ถือเป็นการแสดงถึงความเชื่อมโยงระหว่างหน่วยงาน Miss Universe กับศิลปะการออกแบบของฟิลิปปินส์

รายการจะออกอากาศในวันที่ 16 พฤศจิกายน เวลา 19:30 น. ตามเวลาท้องถิ่นบนช่อง Telemundo และช่องทางสตรีมอื่น ๆ โดยผู้ชนะในปีนี้จะสืบทอดตำแหน่งจาก Sheynnis Palacios มิสยูนิเวิร์ส 2023 จากประเทศนิการากัว
