Pep Guardiola praised his team’s resilience, particularly highlighting the support shown to Khusanov by the fans and players after his early mistake. Meanwhile, Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca acknowledged his team’s missed opportunities and admitted that goalkeeper Sanchez needed to improve after his error for Haaland’s goal.

The victory moves Manchester City up to fourth in the Premier League, while Chelsea slip to sixth. City’s next challenge is a crucial Champions League clash against Club Brugge, where they must win to keep their knockout-stage hopes alive.
