BJP Leads in Delhi Assembly Elections 2025 Exit Polls

Exit polls for the Delhi Assembly Elections 2025 are showing a lead for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). According to most exit polls, the BJP could return to power in Delhi after 27 years. As per the exit polls, the BJP may win between 39 to 60 seats, while the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) could be limited to 10 to 37 seats. The Congress is expected to secure between zero to two seats this time as well.

According to the Election Commission, a voter turnout of 57.89% was recorded in the polling for 70 assembly seats in Delhi. Voting took place in a single phase across 13,766 polling centers, where a triangular contest was seen between AAP, BJP, and Congress. In the capital, 1.56 crore voters were eligible to cast their votes, including 83.76 lakh men, 72.36 lakh women, and 1,267 third-gender individuals.

AAP dismissed the exit poll results, stating that exit polls have been proven wrong in previous elections as well. The party spokesperson said that AAP will once again receive massive support from the public. Meanwhile, the BJP welcomed the exit poll results, claiming that their victory on February 8 will be even more spectacular.

Vote counting will take place on February 8. In the meantime, the exchange of allegations between political parties continues. AAP has accused the BJP of distributing money near polling centers, while the BJP has accused AAP of facilitating fake voting.
