The 26-year-old athlete, who became the highest-paid player in the NFL at the time of his deal, has chosen to prioritize practicality over extravagance, stating in a 2021 interview, “I didn’t need this big place just for myself. I just got me a little apartment. You know, something smooth that’ll last me for the time being.”

While Hurts has opted for a modest living space for himself, he has invested in real estate for his family. Before purchasing any property in his own name, he bought a $215,000 home in Humble, Texas, for his father. In 2023, he also acquired a 3,000-square-foot, four-bedroom house in Houston under his mother’s name. Additionally, Hurts spent $6 million on a 6,000-square-foot residence near his childhood home in Texas, along with purchasing the neighboring property for $2.68 million, possibly for added privacy.
