Jalen Hurts, the Philadelphia Eagles’ star quarterback, has a storied college football career that began at the University of Alabama and concluded at the University of Oklahoma. Hurts made an immediate impact at Alabama, starting as a true freshman in 2016 and earning SEC Offensive Player of the Year and SEC Freshman of the Year honors. He led the Crimson Tide to an 11–1 record and the College Football Playoff national championship in 2017, though he was benched in the title game for Tua Tagovailoa.

Hurts was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles with the No. 53 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, becoming the fifth quarterback taken in that class. His college career laid the foundation for his success in the NFL, where he has since become a key player for the Eagles, leading them to multiple playoff appearances and two Super Bowl appearances.
