JetBlue Celebrates 25 Years with Promotions, New Routes, and Enhanced Customer Experience

JetBlue is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a series of promotions, new routes, and customer experience enhancements. The airline kicked off its birthday celebration with a five-day sale, offering one-way flights to Latin America and the Caribbean for as low as $79, and domestic flights starting at $25. The sale, which runs through February 14, 2025, includes travel dates between February 25 and June 11, with blackout dates from April 10 to 29. Travelers can book flights from Boston to destinations such as Grand Cayman, Barbados, Bermuda, and Cancun at discounted rates.

In addition to the sale, JetBlue announced plans to expand its services, including new seasonal routes from Boston to Madrid and Edinburgh starting in May 2025. The airline will also open its first customer lounges at John F. Kennedy International Airport and Boston Logan International Airport, offering perks for TrueBlue Mosaic members and JetBlue premium cardholders. Furthermore, JetBlue is introducing a domestic first-class option in 2026, combining elevated comfort with its signature low fares.

To mark the milestone, JetBlue unveiled a special “BlueUnity” livery on an Airbus A321, honoring its 23,000 employees. The celebratory flight from New York to Fort Lauderdale mirrored the airline’s first flight in 2000. CEO Joanna Geraghty emphasized JetBlue’s mission to bring humanity back to air travel, crediting the airline’s success to its dedicated crewmembers. JetBlue also plans to retire its Embraer E190 fleet later this year, transitioning to the more modern Airbus A220 aircraft.
