Brings Plenty’s death last year shocked the 1923 community and his family, who have publicly questioned the circumstances surrounding his passing. His uncle, Mo Brings Plenty, a Yellowstone star and consultant, had initially sought help in locating Cole after he missed a scheduled meeting with his agent. The actor’s family attended the Season 2 premiere, where Paramount Media Networks CEO Chris McCarthy acknowledged their presence and the impact of Cole’s loss.
The tribute to Brings Plenty underscores his significance to the series and the lasting impression he left on his colleagues. Aminah Nieves, who worked closely with him, referred to him as her “brother” and expressed her commitment to honoring his memory. The premiere episode is now streaming on Paramount+.
