The fourth team, Team Chris Mullin, was the winner of the Rising Stars Challenge. The teams competed in a single-elimination tournament, with each game played to 40 points. The championship-winning team earned $125,000 per player, while the second-place team received $50,000, and semifinalists took home $25,000 each.
Key matchups included Kenny’s Young Stars (featuring Anthony Edwards and Jalen Brunson) versus Chuck’s Global Stars (led by Victor Wembanyama and Nikola Jokić) and Shaq’s OGs (with Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant) against Candace’s Rising Stars. The winners advanced to the championship game, where the first team to reach 40 points claimed the title.
The weekend also included the G League Up Next Game, featuring a tournament-style format with four teams of G League players, and the National Basketball Retired Players Association awards ceremony.
