St. Clair, known for her conservative views and children’s book published with BRAVE Books, urged the media to respect the child’s privacy and refrain from invasive reporting. Her statement was accompanied by the Latin phrase “Alea iacta est,” meaning “The die is cast,” though it remains unclear what prompted her to make the announcement. Musk, who has not publicly confirmed the claim, is already a father to 12 children with three women: his ex-wife Justine Wilson, musician Grimes, and Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis.
The announcement has sparked reactions from conservative figures, with some expressing support for St. Clair and criticizing the media. Right-wing commentator Candace Owens wrote, “Children should always be off limits,” while others echoed concerns about media intrusion. Musk has yet to address the claim directly, though he has been active on X, posting unrelated content. St. Clair has since thanked supporters for their kind words, reiterating her desire to shield her child from public scrutiny. Representatives for Musk and St. Clair have not provided further comment.
