Nosferatu; A Gothic Tale of Obsession and Terror Set to Debut on Peacock
The horror film Nosferatu, directed by Robert Eggers and starring Bill Skarsgård, Lily-Rose Depp, and Nicholas Hoult, is set to debut on Peacock on February 21, 2025. The film, a gothic tale of obsession between a young woman and a terrifying vampire, premiered in theaters on December 25, 2024, and has since grossed $176.6 million worldwide, making it Focus Features’ second-highest-grossing domestic release. The Peacock release will include an extended cut of the film, along with bonus features such as deleted scenes and a behind-the-scenes documentary.
Peacock subscribers can choose between an ad-supported plan at $7.99 per month or an ad-free option at $13.99 per month. For those without a Peacock subscription, the film is already available on premium video-on-demand platforms and will be released on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD on February 18, 2025.
The film has received critical acclaim and multiple award nominations, including five BAFTA nods and four Academy Award nominations for categories such as Best Cinematography and Best Costume Design. This marks another milestone for director Robert Eggers, who has already secured a third feature project with Focus Features, set for a Christmas 2026 release.
