She aimed to channel a “snotty affect,” drawing inspiration from James Spader’s snobbish persona. Posey described the role as a theatrical nod to Southern drama, likening it to Tennessee Williams’ Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.
Posey also shared her experience working with Blackpink’s Lisa, who makes her acting debut in the series. Initially unfamiliar with the K-pop star, Posey recounted how hotel staff were starstruck by Lisa’s presence. During filming, Posey and co-star Natasha Rothwell dined with some of the butlers, where Lisa joined them briefly, leaving a lasting impression. “She’s such a beauty,” Posey remarked, highlighting Lisa’s immense popularity in Thailand.
