Krispy Kreme Spreads Sweet Kindness with Free Doughnuts on World Kindness Day
Krispy Kreme is celebrating World Kindness Day on November 13, 2024, by giving away free Original Glazed® Doughnuts to the first 500 customers at participating locations across the U.S. This initiative is part of the company’s commitment to spreading kindness and encouraging positive interactions within communities. On this day, customers can simply walk into a participating Krispy Kreme shop or visit the drive-thru to claim their free dozen doughnuts—no purchase necessary. Dave Skena, Krispy Kreme's Global Chief Brand Officer, expressed the hope that this gesture will inspire many small acts of kindness: “We hope that each dozen Original Glazed doughnuts we give away enables and inspires many dozens of small acts of kindness.” With more than 40 countries participating in this global celebration, Krispy Kreme’s locations will join together to emphasize the importance of kindness. Customers are encouraged to share their moments of kindness on social media using the hashtag #KrispyKreme and tagging @krispykreme. World Kindness Day has been celebrated annually since 1998, aiming to remind people how small acts of kindness can positively impact lives and foster goodwill throughout communities.
